Disaster Cats is based on the true story of Bergie, a brave little house cat who survives the Eaton Fire and reunites with her family 32 days later. Through a blend of animation, documentary footage, and interviews, the film reconstructs her extraordinary journey. At its heart, the film is a love letter to fire survivors and to Altadena, with Bergie embodying the resilience, grit, and hope of survivors rebuilding their lives and their beloved town.
Join us as we screen this short film and do a panel with the artistic team! Refreshments to follow! This is an amazing way to support our Altadena community and hear a story of resilience in the midst of disaster!
