Kids & Youth
Kids check-in before the service in the lobby, and then head out to their groups after our sung worship time. Our 9am service has a full VKids program with different classes for children ages 0 - 5th grade, and our 11am service has a combined VKids program for kids ages 0 - 5th grade.
Our VYouth program (middle school & high school) runs at the 11am service and starts at the beginning of the service downstairs in the Youth Room.
What To Expect
We know that it can be daunting visiting a church for the first time. Here's what you can expect when you visit Vintage Pasadena on a Sunday:

Welcome
Each week we serve coffee and donuts in the lobby before the service. This is a chance to meet people and to say hi and connect with one another. We also have a welcome team who will welcome you to church and answer any questions you might have

Worship
Our services start with a time of sung worship, and we normally sing 3-4 songs. After the sermon we will usually sing a response song as we close the service. We sing a mix of modern worship songs, along with some hymns and older songs. You can see our current song list here.

Liturgy
As part of worship we use some informal liturgy, including saying 'The Peace' which is an opportunity to greet one another after the sung worship. We also pray a blessing at the end of each service. The words are on the screen for you to follow along with.

Preaching
We prioritize the word of God, and every week a member of our leadership team will preach a biblical message. Our sermons are approximately 35-40 mins and we cover a range of different topics and books of the bible throughout the year. You can hear some of our previous sermons here.

Prayer
We believe in the power of prayer, and we have a prayer team available to pray with you at the end of every service. After communion, our team will be available at the front of the church. The team is trained and will never share any of your information with anyone else.

Communion
we have an opportunity to take part in communion each week at the end of our services. On the third Sunday of each month, we invite the children and youth to come back into the service to join us for communion all together at the end of the service. Find out more about communion at Vintage here.
