What is Altadena care?

In response to the devastating LA fires that affected so many in January 2025, we felt called to serve and care for the Altadena community which is close to our church. As a church we are committed to loving and finding ways to support the Altadena community as they rebuild, restore and heal. On this page you will find the latest updates on way we are supporting residents in Altadena and the surrounding areas, including ways that you can get involved and volunteer.

Altadena Prayer Walks

As a church we want to commit to praying for Altadena and Pasadena regularly. Below are some ways that you can get involved in some prayer walks, both individually (using an app) and with other people together as a group.

Altadena Community Days

Join us each month as we bring some love to the Altadena community. Opportunities include watering surviving plants/trees in burned lots, raking yards and picking up trash, and prayer walking through the streets.

We have been kindly donated a trolley bus to support our ongoing work in Altadena.

Get Involved

Community Days

We have regular days where we take a team to do community work in the area. This can range from watering plants, giving out gift bags, praying for people, planting seeds and more. Click below for more details.

Trolley Bus Project

We are renovating a trolley bus that has been kindly donated to us, and we are planning to use this bus to serve the Altadena area. If you would like to be a part of this project email Carla Cavalcanti

Prayer Walks

We have weekly church wide prayer walks led by our community pastor, Carla Cavalcanti. This is a great way to connect with others and to pray for Altadena. To find out more about these prayer walks click below.

Prayer App

Join us as we commit as a church to pray over every street/every property in Altadena. You can walk with us on a scheduled walk or go yourself with a group of friends using the Prayer Walk app.
